New Members

Q:  What is a New Family Enrollment Fee ?

A:  This fee covers the costs of setting up accounts and access to resources for all members of the family. As long as the family maintains a continuous membership it will only need to be paid once. If membership is interrupted, the fee will be charged again when membership is resumed.


Q:  When can new members enroll?

A:  New members can enroll during any enrollment period during the year. See enrollment periods HERE.


Two Options

Monthly Subscription & Annual Payment

Q:  Would you explain the payment options for ICC membership?

A:

Monthly Subscription is an ongoing subscription to ICC products and services. It is available for purchase during enrollment periods throughout the year and is paid by automatic payment on a monthly basis until the member cancels the subscription. The price of the membership is locked in for as long as the membership runs continuously. If membership is interrupted, members will pay the new membership price and the New Family Enrollment Fee to re-enroll.


Annual Payment is a membership that is paid in full during the Renewal & New Member Enrollment period.  Products and services offered by ICC are available from June 16 through June 15. Membership must be renewed within the membership renewal period in the spring to maintain membership status.


Q:  Annual Payment -- When does my annual membership expire?

A: Annual membership includes benefits from June 16 thru June 15 of the following year.


Q:  Annual Payment -- When do I make my one payment?

A:  Payments are made during any enrollment period.


Q:  Monthly Subscription -- When is my first monthly payment due?

A:  The first payment will be charged immediately. Every 30 days, on the day of the month on which you made the initial purchase, your credit card will be charged.

Q: When is the 2020 Renewal Enrollment period?

A: Between April 1 and 29. There will be enrollment periods throughout the year.


Q:  What happens if I can’t renew during the renewal period ?

A:  Renewal happens ONLY during the renewal period. This year, it begins April 1 and has been extending, due to these trying times, to May 20.

If you miss this renewal period, you will need to wait until another enrollment period and enroll as new members. This will require the New Family Enrollment Fee along with membership fees.


Q:  When do members receive their benefits after enrollment?

A:  New members will be given access to all resources and benefits within 10 business days after they enroll. Renewing members will see no interruption in their benefits.


Q:  Does ICC offer discounts for multiple students in a family?

A: We have worked to maintain family-friendly pricing. Fees are determined to make membership as affordable as possible for families of any size.


Q:  What happens if I want to disenroll?

A: First thing, make your sponsor aware of your intent to disenroll. Next, send a written request for disenrollment to [email protected] and copy your sponsor.

  • Up to 72 hours, 100% of Family Fee plus membership fees is refundable.
  • Up to 30 days, 90% of all membership fees are refundable.
  • After 30 days, there are no longer refunds available for New Family or Membership fees, including discounted annual payments.


With termination of membership, members relinquish access to membership resources, and iccinc.org accounts. Click the green button to the left for Member Terms & Agreement.

           

Families wishing to re-enroll following a lapsed membership simply pay the New Family Enrollment Fee. This contributes to costs associated with the administrative support services needed for re-establishing memberships.

Spring Semester Enrollment

Q:  What membership options are available for the spring semester? 

A:  Students enrolling during the Spring Semester enrollment window may purchase membership either as a one-time payment, which is paid in full at the time of purchase, or a Monthly Membership, which is paid monthly until it is cancelled.


Q:   Can I purchase the Student Leadership Enrollment for the spring semester? 

A:  Yes, any time Student Leadership Enrollment is available. 

Q:  When does membership for the Semester option expire?

A:  Membership benefits for those who purchase the Semester one-time Membership is June 15 of the same year.

Membership for those purchasing the Monthly Subscription will not expire until the membership is cancelled.


Student Leadership

Q:  Who is eligible for chapter Student Leadership training?

A:  Members that meet the requirements outlined on the Student Leadership website page are eligible for this special leadership training.


Q:  What is included in Student Leadership training?

A:  Students receive training:

  • In the chapter, students are mentored by a certified Chapter Sponsor, on-the-job training and debrief opportunities.
  • Student Leaders have access to 12 sessions of training in the Navigator, our chapter curriculum, specific to student leadership to further equip them as a leader.
  • Student Leaders receive access to our Student Leadership Resources in the ICC Academy where valuable training resources for chapter student leaders are available 24/7.
  • Training by Area and Global Student Leaders on monthly video connections provides connection and mentoring with peers.






Q:  When is the Student Leader Enrollment (SLE) available?

A:  Students can purchase chapter Student Leadership four times each year. Click HERE to see this windows for enrollment.


During the August enrollment, the SLE may be purchased with the subscription option or the one-time payment option.

During the other periods, it may be purchased as a one-time payment only.


Q:  Do I need to purchase the Student Leader Enrollment each year?

A: Yes. A chapter student serving in a Student Leader role is receiving leadership training and mentoring each year. The tuition covers training from June 16 - June 15 each year.


Q. What about Advanced Student Leadership, the ASLT, GSLT, and GSLMT?

A. The purchase of an Advanced Student Leader Enrollment includes a discounted SLE ($50) + an international event credit ($350). Please click the respective button below to find all the answers to your questions about Advanced Student Leadership.

Other Questions

Q. If my student turns 11 in the fall, do I purchase YCC or YSG?

A. Purchase the membership that you'll be using that year. 

Q. If my student has learning disabilities and is 11, may I keep him in YCC?

A. We recommend 11-year-olds advancing into YSG. Attending only every other week with younger children doesn't serve that student, in our experience. By advancing, he'll be supported as he makes his way through the portfolio, proud of each challenge he meets.
